Whilst we welcome families with children of all ages, Our main play sessions feature indoor fun mainly aimed at little people aged 1-6, with a mixture of ever changing imaginative and creative play. Our set up is designed to offer a relaxing and enjoyable visit for both kids and the grown ups who love them in a cosy, calm environment. We kindly remind you that children attending The Snug remain the responsibility of the grown ups they are with, at all times and in all areas. Babies under 6 months are free- just add on the adults and any other children that they will be accompanied by.

Welcome to The Snug! We’re so excited to have you and your little ones here to play, explore, and enjoy! To ensure everyone has a safe and fun experience, please take a moment to read through our terms and conditions, which are designed to keep The Snug a happy place for all our visitors.
1. Child Supervision
At The Snug, we ask that all children are supervised by their grown up at all times. The safety of your little ones is our top priority, and we kindly remind you that parents or guardians are responsible for their children while in our cafe and play area.
2. Age Range
Our play cafe is designed for children aged 1 to 6 years. While we welcome families with children of all ages, the play activities are best suited for this age group. We ask that parents use discretion when allowing older or younger children to participate in play activities.
3. Play Area Guidelines
To keep playtime safe and enjoyable for everyone:
Please ensure children play gently and respectfully with the toys and equipment.
For safety reasons, climbing on furniture, running and rough play are not permitted in the cafe area.
4. Food & Drink
We offer a selection of delicious food and drinks for all ages! When enjoying a snack or meal, we ask that children eat at the designated dining tables to avoid accidents in the play area. Please let us know as soon as possible if anyone in your group has allergies or dietary requirements.
To keep the risk of cross contamination to a minimum in our setting, we ask that no outside food is consumed on the premises.
We have a bottle warmer if needed to reheat babies bottles.
5. Health & Safety
For the well-being of all, we ask that you do not visit The Snug if your child or any family member is feeling unwell or has symptoms of illness. We maintain a clean and safe environment and we encourage frequent handwashing to help prevent the spread of germs.
Miltons wipes are available for any grown ups who would like to give any toys an extra wipe down for added piece of mind.
If your child mouths or sneezes on any toys, please hand them to us to thoroughly clean before they are added back into the play setting.
6. Respecting Others
At The Snug, we’re all about fostering kindness and cooperation. Please encourage your little ones to share and take turns with the toys and equipment wherever possible. In the unlikely event of an issue, our friendly staff will be happy to assist in resolving it.
7. Liability
By visiting The Snug, you agree to supervise your child(ren) at all times. While we strive to provide a safe environment, The Snug cannot be held responsible for accidents, injuries, or losses that may occur on the premises.
8. Play Area Restrictions
Some activities or toys may have specific age recommendations or safety restrictions. Please check for any posted guidelines and follow them accordingly.
9. Behavioural Expectations
We’re all about creating a positive experience for families! If any disruptive behaviour occurs, we ask parents or guardians to intervene and resolve the situation kindly. If needed, our team may ask a family to leave the premises.
10. Events & Special Activities
The Snug may occasionally host special events or activities. These will be advertised in advance, and we encourage you to join the fun! Please note that certain events will require booking or an additional charge.
